"How much is the cloak?" she asked the shopkeeper.
"It's forty silver," he answered.
Heather experienced a moment of sticker shock and had to shake her head. She looked at the cloak again, warring with herself.
"There's also a matching hat," the shopkeeper said, pointing. (3/6) #wss366

Her eyes were drawn to a clothing store that had an amazing cloak in the window. It was black, but seemed to shimmer with iridescence and had slashes with inset red details. She stood with her nose against the glass for more than a minute before being irresistibly drawn into the shop. (2/6) #wss366

Heather walked down Mercantile Street looking in shop windows. Deepmooring, being a large seaport, had a fantastic variety of imported goods the like of which she'd never seen before. There was exotic furniture, mouthwatering candies, finely-worked leather goods, and so much more. (1/6) #wss366

"That's strange," she said. "Lambda only has four toes."
"Lambda is a dog."
"But you kinda look like a dog."
"I beg your pardon!" he said.
"If I fly high enough," Forrest said. "You both look like insects." (2/2) #wss366

After dinner, she wrote for a while in her journal. But she soon fell asleep.
She awoke to find herself being carried to bed.
"Did you see?" she yawned.
"I did!" Kasseh said. "We will have to celebrate tomorrow."
"Tomorrow…" Cecelia echoed, and fell back to sleep in Kasseh's arms. (3/3) #wss366

When she arrived, she peeked into the jewelry shop. She could see at once that Kasseh was in one her manic phases, hyperfocused on whatever it was she was working on. Cecelia sighed and quietly slipped upstairs. She recut the stem, put the rosebud in a vase, and set it on the table. (2/3) #wss366

"That's awesome!" the girl said. "Where can I get one!" (3/3) #wss366

Totemo Isogashii and Lambda led a crowd of school children on a field trip. Lambda led them while Totemo pointed out features of plants and animals they encountered.
"What's this?" a little girl said, pointing at a leaf. A winding circuitous path was visible through the leaf's surface. (1/3) #wss366

The elderly gentleman strolled through the park. He was elegantly dressed for the hot, sunny weather, wearing a light-colored linen shirt and multi-colored vest. He carried a parasol with little pompoms around the edge.
"Why do you have an umbrella?" asked a little girl in the park. (1/2) #wss366

Once the water finished draining through, Zsazsa removed the cone and handed the cup to Booboo who accepted it.
She inspected it suspiciously. "It looks like coffee." Then she tasted it. "It tastes like coffee! It's good! But I still want my cream and sugar."
"How barbaric, Darling!" (4/4) #wss366

Zsazsa took a pot off the stove and poured boiling water in circular patterns over the grounds. The scent of fresh coffee filled the air.
"It really does smell like coffee!" Booboo said.
"There are lots of ways to make coffee," Zsazsa confided. "But this one is supposed to be best." (3/4) #wss366
